Discover our family activities
The Maison des Jardies provides two activity booklets:
- The children’s trail, ‘The Emblems of the Republic’, helpschildren learn about Léon Gambetta and understand the principles of the Republic and its symbols.
- The family trail, “La Maison des Jardies”, invites you to explore the monument, its history and that of its illustrious residents. Adults and children are all welcome to take part!
During school holidays and on certain weekends, tours and workshops for children are organised, allowing them to explore Les Jardies whilst having fun. Check the calendar for upcoming events.
Visitor tips
Where to eat?
You can have a picnic in Lesser Park, situated directly opposite the entrance to the Maison des Jardies. For a sit-down lunch or afternoon snack, head to one of the restaurants near the monument.

- Toilets are available within the building.
- Prams are not permitted inside the house, but you can leave them in a secure area before your tour begins.
